Abstract

This research was carried out in the city of Quevedo, managing to diagnose the management of human talent and the performance of hotel employees in the Quevedo canton. The business environment is currently characterized by giving a leading role to knowledge; the success of companies and organizations depend on what people do and how they do it, that is, exploit the talent of people and that benefits are generated for organizations seen as strategic allies to perform and to perform well in their work. From this, the need arises to pay more attention to the intangible assets of the company, especially those that provide economic values, in this context knowledge has become important for companies.
