Imaging of maxillofacial trauma Le Fort 2.

Abstract

Trauma is a pathology that represents a high rate of morbidity and mortality worldwide, which generates within a year around 5 to 6 million deaths produced directly and indirectly in the patient. Approximately around 5 to 10% of these cases are accompanied by maxillofacial trauma, presenting different Le fort scales. A case of a patient who suffers a traffic accident in an ethyl state is presented, imaging studies are carried out and the type of Lefort to which the lesion belongs is identified and classified using radiographic and tomographic findings. We scientifically analyze and describe the findings found in the images obtained.
