Diagnosis and follow-up of cerebellar abscess by imaging studies.

Abstract

Cerebral Abscess is an inflammatory lesion, which directly affects the central nervous system, in its early stages the doctor must be very meticulous in his diagnosis because if not treated properly and as soon as possible the patient can contract permanent damage to their lifestyle and even death. The objective of this research is to establish the potentials of imaging in the diagnosis and monitoring of cerebellar abscess, for the approach to the object of study a qualitative methodology was used from a case study.
