Abstract

This article aims to study 123 pregnant women from the IES Babahoyo Hospital, Ecuador during 2017-2019. A statistical study based on the rank correlation coefficient is performed. The measurement of hemoglobin levels of pregnant women during the first trimester is compared to the third trimester, after indicating to pregnant women with anemia a special diet in foods rich in iron. The statistical study of the incidence of anemia and its severity correspond to the statistics that are usual in Latin America.
