IgE and quality of life in adults with rhinitis.
Abstract
Rhinitis is a symptomatic disorder, characterized by inflammation of the membranes that cover the nose, whose pathophysiological mechanisms are still unknown and necessary for timely treatment, since this condition affects the development of the patient's life. The work aims to: Determine the relationship between IgE and quality of life in adults with rhinitis. A cross-sectional, non-experimental, correlational applied research was conducted in adults with rhinitis. Clinical and sociodemographic characteristics were evaluated, serum IgE values were quantified and a questionnaire (SNOT-22) was applied to detect the quality of life of selected patients.
