The evolution of methods and tools for the detection of caries.
Abstract
Oral diseases are a problem in today's society, one of the most relevant being caries, which has been considered one of the most prevalent diseases worldwide because it produces changes in tooth enamel and dentin. Nowadays, the evolution of technology is more and more remarkable, and not only in daily life, but also in the health field. There are technological equipments that help in oral health, being able to manipulate information in a digital way, that is to say, they store the information by means of a series of electrical impulses based on a binary system, which makes it possible for the information to be interpreted without any possibility of error.
