Abstract

The social practice materialized in the celebration of carnivals  began by being considered as a party; however, the use of elements such as water and paint avoided the sustainability of the aforementioned celebration; This is predominantly due to the absence of environ mental education, a situation that causes restrictions on access to water, although it is a human right. This article is based on a method of documentary analysis, which has allowed us to conclude that the carnival party encourages the use of the resource “water” indiscriminately and the possibility of proposing the ecological carnival as a deterrent that will reduce pollution of the environment.
