The Crisis of the Terminology and Translation in “The female of the Language: Papers on Discourse and Gender” of the Feminist Zuleikha Abu Risha.
Abstract
The work of the Jordanian author, Zuleikha Abu Risha, “The Female of Language: Papers on Discourse and Gender”, is undoubtedly a multiform issue of the dominant male discourse, as well as a discourse proposal that the author reconstruct on a solid base of equality between men and women. In this proposal, the researchers observe that translation and terminology have a prominent role in defining a new discourse, and thus, a new image of women in society.
