Metacognitive strategies in English language learners.
Abstract
The main objective of the research is related to characterizing metacognitive strategies, understood as a set of knowledge construction activities that guide, direct and guide the learning construction process, under the following dimensions: Levels (with the indicators: Objective and Goal), Relationships (with the indicators: Direction and Control), Macro components (with the indicators: Analysis-synthesis and Recursion), Elements (with the indicators: Representational, Procedural and Functional) and Modalities (with the indicators: Metathinking and Meta report) in students of the Language Center of Chimborazo Politechnic Higher School in the period April-August 2017.
