Methodological design for the research on resilience of historical centers of coastal cities.
Abstract
The Historical Centers (CH) face a diverse functional reality where different variables or factors from their environment are contrasted, which break precarious balances. To fill the knowledge gap that enables the effectiveness of HC rehabilitation programs in coastal cities with functional problems to be achieved, with a comprehensive model of resilience, which considers as a system, the different subsystems in balance with environmental factors and that To guarantee its urban sustainability, it is required to methodologically design an investigation through the mixed approach of qualitative and quantitative investigation of the post-positivist episteme.
