Abstract

In the framework of the global educational trend of vocational training at the undergraduate level, the curricula coincide in the theoretical pedagogical foundation of social constructivism and critical humanism; in this panorama, the importance of research in the evaluation of educational strategy implemented at the Autonomous University of Guerrero to meet the basic competence of the Gerontogeriatric Nursing Care Process addresses the health needs derived from the unprecedented demographic aging process of the 21st century, with unhealthy lifestyles that are related to chronic diseases- degenerative that lead to disabilities and functional dependency. This research contributes strategies and reflective criticality that proposes solutions to the problems of gerontogeriatric care.
