Environmental education program in the pro-environmental attitudes of basic education students.

Abstract

It was proceeded with the implementation and execution of an environmental program, aimed at secondary school students, whose objective is to strengthen and enhance their proenvironmental attitudes by raising awareness of the environmental problems in their environment and carrying out conservation and preservation actions. They demonstrated willingness and commitment in the activities of the environmental program, achieving improvements in knowledge, in the treatment and management of solid waste in the recycling and reuse of materials. Also, they cultivated vegetables in bio-gardens and hydroponics; that allowed to be recognized as a good teaching practice, at the level of regular basic educational institutions.
