Abstract
Reading is a process through which the recipient reconstructs a message that has been encoded by a writer in graphic form. Reading is one of the most important activities in the formation of the human being, characterized by the translation of symbols or letters into words and phrases that carry meaning. Once the symbol has been decoded, it is reproduced, so the first phase of its learning is linked to writing. The essential objective of reading is to make it possible to understand written materials, evaluate them and use them according to our needs. It is important that each person knows his reading speed; in this way, he can better plan his time, both for reading and for studying.
