Design and evaluation of an intelligent tutoring system developed with Bayesian classification for National Polytechnic Institute students.
Abstract
This paper presents the design of an intelligent tutoring system developed with the Naïve Bayes technique with the purpose of evaluating it in high school students of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN). The research sample consisted of 180 students, of which 90 students formed the traditional class group and the other 90 students formed the group to which the intelligent tutor system was applied. The results showed an improvement in the academic performance of the group to which the system was applied with respect to the traditional class group. This type of system allows increasing the academic performance of students through personalization of learning.
