Abstract

The initiative “Punto México Conectado” (PMC), which aims to promote digital inclusion and develop digital skills, is analyzed. A descriptive mixed analysis of data obtained in 2018 through the PMC program was performed. The data provided were partners, courses, and partner satisfaction, as well as an evaluation made by an external entity in 2017. The initiative continues, now under another name: "Digital Inclusion Center", but it is recognized that it is necessary to establish and realign some key aspects, such as gradually accommodating content appropriate to the context of each region, as well as increasing the complexity of the content of the courses offered and developing key indicators that allow the progress in digital inclusion to be accurately measured.
