Abstract

Training in the university context is aimed at appropriating the knowledge, abilities, capacities and competencies necessary in the exercise of the profession, in correspondence with economic, cultural and socio-political demands that become more complex before the demands of the labor market. In this sense, the rescue of historical memory in the comprehensive training of university students constitutes an element to be taken into account to realize the aspirations of Cuban Higher Education. Only from the historical subject and its culture, the reality can acquire meaning, and the human essence becomes a direct expression of the changes produced in society.
