Diagnostic study on the statistical sample design declared in research carried out by software engineering students.
Abstract
The sample design of the research is a necessity. It provides objectivity, validity, and credibility. It is important to take into consideration the population that reflects the difficulty under study. Level integrative projects, developed in the Software career, are analyzed. Difficulties are detected in relation to the above-mentioned categories. The objective is to diagnose the definition of the sample design in research developed by Software Engineering students, from the Universidad Regional Autonoma de los Andes, Ibarra Extension. The contribution consists of offering a current vision on the competencies to define the sample design of the research, in the context that is being studied.
