Equality and non-discrimination in cases of domestic violence by women against men in Santo Domingo.
Abstract
To demonstrate the material, formal inequality and discrimination that man is subjected to when he is a victim of domestic violence, the research had a mixed design, with descriptive scope, the method of experts and the documentary analysis of current regulations were used, the doctrine that contains different thoughts, positions and theories, and the sentences that sanction women when they are the aggressor, thus identifying the inequity on the part of the judges when sanctioning. There was evidence of formal, material inequality and discrimination against men in the criminal type of violence against women or members of the family nucleus. Finally, comparative law studies were carried out between the laws of Peru, Colombia and Mexico, where different procedures are noted.
