Abstract

The setback in the legalization and adjudication of rural land in the Canton Quininde, from the years 2017-2018 was analyzed with a qualitative-quantitative design, with explanatory scope. The method of experts, documentary analysis, interviews and surveys applied in the territory were used, which evidenced the existence of large estates and monocultures, noncompliance with the agreement between the municipal GAD of the Canton of Quininde and the Undersecretary of Lands of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, the existence of political interests that seek to perpetuate the marginalization of the peasant sector. There is no redistribution of land and the award of direct and equitable compliance to the small farmer as required by the constitution and the Organic Law of Rural Lands and Ancestral Territories is not carried out.
