Abstract

The concept of Corporate Social Responsibility had its origin in 1953 when Howard Bowen first posed the responsibilities of entrepreneurs, but it was Drucker who sought to propose that businesses should turn social responsibility into business opportunities. The objective of the research was to carry out a bibliometric analysis of the state of research on corporate social responsibility in Ecuadorian universities. It was evident that the greatest amount of research work has been carried out in private universities in the Sierra Region.
