Value aggregation in entrepreneurships of popular and solidarity economy.
Abstract
Most of the popular and solidarity economy entrepreneurships that take place in Ecuador are autonomous subsistence activities, lacking specialization in their processes, and weak from all administrative and commercial points of view; however, they are of great importance for family economies, who finds in their entrepreneurships an alternative to the exclusion of formal work. This work highlights the importance and need for adding value in the entrepreneurs of popular and solidarity economy. Product quality criteria, service, image, among others, were evaluated in a group of establishments, concluding that these ventures require creative strategies and adapted to their reality to achieve a more favorable position in the market and promote their sustainability.
