Abstract

The main objective of this study was to establish the relationship between family structure and parental attitudes towards parenting associated with risk factors for sexual abuse in children aged 3 to 5 years from Sincelejo, Sucre. It was carried out under a quantitative, descriptivecorrelational, cross-sectional approach, with a sample of 116 parents or guardians with an age range of 19 to 58 years and 116 intentionally selected children, to whom the test was applied. Questionnaire for the Identification of Risk Factors of Child Abuse and the Parenting Questionnaire PCRI-M. In the results, the non-existence of significant correlations / differences between the variables was obtained.
