Didactic games in the consolidation class of Mathematics in Cuban secondary school.
Abstract
The study that is presented addresses the theoretical and methodological foundations of the use of didactic games in the consolidation of the mathematical contents of basic secondary school, in order to encourage their use. The work reveals the game as a way to learn mathematics in an attractive way, which helps to motivate adolescents in consolidation classes. The research enriches the Pedagogical Sciences in the theoretical order and has been the result of a research process in educational practice during several school years. The didactic games that should be used in the teaching-learning process of Mathematics in Cuban basic high school are defined, making suggestions for the different kinds of consolidation.
