Abstract

The work offers a study of the land property system in the colonial stage, its characteristics and consequences, as well as a characterization of the commune haciendas in the Jurisdiction of Santa Clara from the end of the seventeenth century to the end of the eighteenth century, which gives the research of an evidentiary nature on the role that this form of land appropriation had in the process of national formation in Cuba, from the regional perspective.
