Social representations of teaching competencies in virtual learning environments in times of pandemic.
Abstract
The objective of the research was to determine the social representations of teaching competencies in virtual learning environments. For the analysis of the study, theoretical references on social representations, Covid-19 and teaching competencies in information and communication technologies were used, using the qualitative methodological approach. After collecting the data, analyzing the information with the participants during the interview and through content analysis, the meanings of 5 theoretical categories emerged: 1: Competences in the use of information and communication technologies, 2: Teacher training and updating, 3: Learning strategies, 4: Selfmanagement of learning, and 5: Evaluation of learning.
