Challenges of distance education for Technological Higher Middle Education institutions in times of COVID-19.
Abstract
The purpose of the research was to know the challenges of distance education in times of COVID-19 at the CONALEP No. 293 technical high school in Puerto Vallarta Jalisco, Mexico. The methodology is quantitative, not experimental, descriptive, exploratory. The sampling is probabilistic, simple random, integrated by 32 teachers and administrators, and 208 students. In the results, the director of the institution trained the administrative staff, teachers and students in digital matters, creating a systematized system of meetings between management, administrative and teaching staff to detect students with educational lag, provide pedagogical support, counseling and tutoring for young people at risk of failure through collaborative work and supervision of parents.
