Gender violence in higher education institutions.

Abstract

Gender-based violence is a latent problem that has been noted in the various manifestations that have made its presence visible within different social contexts, the university setting being one of those that stands out for its incidence. In the present work, a systematic search was carried out, and firstly, the investigations carried out on gender violence in higher education institutions are analyzed, and later, those that specifically address harassment and sexual harassment with The purpose of showing an overview of the studies carried out in Mexico in recent years, their main contributions and confirming the need and urgency, given its increase, to continue researching in this line to make the problem visible, prevent it and be able to attend to the victims.
