Family relationships and mental health in psychology students.
Abstract
Starting from the objective: to determine the relationship between the perception of family dynamics and the state of mental health presented by psychology students; a quantitative, descriptive and correlational study was generated with n = 178 students, the E.R.I. Scale was used and also the DSM-5 level 1 cross-sectional symptoms measurement scale. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used such as prevalences, Student's T and Pearson's R. The results show the presence of mental health problems, and in turn, these problems have as an associated factor how the student perceives family dynamics at home and the results are discussed.
