Approach and conceptualization of Political Psychology in Mexico.

Abstract

The objective of this article is to know an approach about the historical-scientific events and the conceptualization of political psychology in Mexico based on documents and scientific research carried out from its inception to the present day. Political psychology is in charge of studying, describing, and explaining the political behavior that the citizen has through psychological, social, and cultural representations that are part of it, opening up the understanding and awareness of said representations; managing to be a great tool for solving social problems that arise today, since many of them can seem endless and sometimes unknown. In terms of this area, the citizen must generate a common good in the society where he operates.
