Practical experience in a female addiction rehabilitation shelter in Colima (Mexico).
Abstract
The present work aims to present a work experience in addiction rehabilitation in a civil initiative women's shelter located in Colima. Due to the lack of previous data and of a structured program that considered families in the recovery process, an analysis of the needs of the institution's users was carried out to later propose, apply, and evaluate a pilot project of intervention. The work is finished pointing out the limitations and difficulties encountered in the implementation process of the proposed project, solutions found and recommendations for improvement.
