Key aspects of alternative narratives for health literacy.
Abstract
Telling stories with structures that include languages adaptable to the message is the natural way we have to transmit information. Health literacy refers to the use of information by people to make decisions related to individual and collective health. The institutions dedicated to this, usually present narrative limitations, so knowing aspects for the analysis and proposal of alternative initiatives contributes to the strengthening of the literacy process and its stakeholders. Through the ethnographic method and narrative research, this work reflects on these key aspects based on a campaign for the use of condoms published on Facebook, in order to provide theoreticalmethodological bases for health literacy.
