Trends in the Teaching of Cultural Geography in Mexico; a perspective from SEGEM 1982 - 2019.
Abstract
As part of the study on specialized academic events in the education and teaching of the geographic discipline, the objective of this article is to present the Trends in the Teaching of Cultural Geography in Mexico, identified from the Symposiums on the Teaching of Geography, (SEGEM), held from 1982 to 2019. From building the database in SPSS of the 11 events held in four decades, 955 participations are integrated, classified with the trend method, in thematic paradigms, disciplinary orientations and methodological approaches, highlighting as thematic paradigms of Cultural Geography: education, study programs and field practices, from geographical, pedagogical and didactic disciplines, with different methodological approaches.
