Abstract

It is important to make known that this research includes analyzing the morphometric and hydrological characteristics of the ephemeral Maconta basin, through general parameters, shape, relief and drainage network with the software (QGIS). It is also important to evaluate through a modeling whose interpretation will be with return periods (tr), which will be carried out with precipitation data from (INAMHI), performing a hydrological simulation model with periodic data, results will be obtained in which it is possible to determine the behavior of the riverbed. With the help of the HEC-HMS hydrological model program, this tool is used for the management and handling of water resources, which in its results seeks to represent the hydrological and hydrographic distribution processes.
