Abstract

This mixed research work investigated and compared, through an evaluation, the uncertainty associated with the simulated discharge curve in the Las Flores micro-basin, in San Sebastián, Manabí, Ecuador, in order to reduce the different aspects of uncertainty that were in question. , due to the lack of actual data to generate a discharge curve. Data were collected using 12 gauges performed by two different methods (current meter and volumetric). The verification of the relationship between the simulated data and the data obtained was generated, through the calculation of the root mean square error (RECM), executed by means of the Microsoft Excel and Hec-Ras programs, also used to verify the results.
