Changes in precipitation and temperature patterns in Ecuador: highlands and eastern regions.
Abstract
In this research, 40-year series of precipitation and temperature of the meteorological stations of the sierra and eastern Ecuador were analyzed from 1980 to 2019. By considering the variability in the seasons, it will be possible to establish trends towards the increase or decrease of temperature at the long of the time. The fluctuations of the comparative data series will show a variability in the behavior, for this reason they have been subjected to a non-parametric statistical test of Mann Kendall for the analysis and corresponding study.
