Abstract

This article deals with information management applied to educational management. However, having information management skills does not mean being competent in that area. Therefore, this research presents a procedure that emphasizes information management as a management competence for school administration. Difficulties were found in processing, interpretation and contextualization of the significant, objective and precise information with inadequate management of the ICTs by the administrators from Las Tunas province. This affected its storage, protection, presentation, modification, and distribution. At the same time, the socialization process was affected.
