Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze the graphic novel as an emerging genre and of growing importance in the international literary scene, with special emphasis on the Arabic graphic novel and its role as a tool for bringing the realities of the Arab World closer together and readers from all over the world. the world. To this end, the trajectory of the genre is briefly reviewed, and its particularities and main characteristics are analyzed. The current situation of the genre is presented and analyzed below, while introducing some of its most prominent authors and their works. Based on the situation and the trends exposed, it is about presenting the possible perspectives of the genre.
