Assessment of the usefulness of epidemiological action research in times of Covid 19.

Abstract

Action research is an important tool for epidemiological and health studies worldwide, which is the reason for this research aimed at assessing the usefulness of epidemiological action research as a research methodology in times of COVID 19 in Ecuador. Documents were reviewed and a survey was applied to researchers of the Medicine career, most of whom (92.3%) stated that they use action research in health studies and that it is highly effective in such studies, as well as that they use it in their research with a high frequency. Finally, more than 90% consider that it is very useful for epidemiological studies in times of Covid 19.
