The social security of migrants in Ecuador against the protection of International Organizations.
Abstract
This article analyzes the social security of migrants in Ecuador against the protection of International Organizations, under postulates of the Ecuadorian Constitution, Social Security Law, Labor Code and Organic Law of Human Mobility, and the position of International Organizations is strengthened . It is a documentary research with a non-experimental design and a qualitative approach. Among the findings, Ecuador and its laws establish the protection of migrants in a regular situation, and have access to social security, as proposed by International Organizations, without being extended to migrants in an irregular situation, contrary to what these organizations indicate, according to the principle of inclusion and non-discrimination, which avoids the violation of rights due to legal status.
