Abstract

Operations research and the design of optimization models are fundamental in the development of practical solutions to production problems, especially in the agricultural sector that needs technical inputs to develop strategies to maximize profits; Therefore, the objective was to develop an optimization model through the simplex method for the development of profit maximization strategies in the agricultural sector of the association of the Autonomous Decentralized Parish Government of Cahuasqui. The methodology used is quali-quantitative, applying theoretical and empirical methods, and statistics registered by the members of the association, resulting in a profit maximization solution based on the use of resources selected for the study. The result is a profit maximization solution based on the use of the resources selected for the study.
