Osteoporosis risk factors in women over 60 years of age: nursing care.
Abstract
The objective of this research was aimed at developing a nursing care guide for osteoporosis risk factors in women over 60 years of age. The research modality was quantitative, with a cross-sectional, non-experimental design, and the population consisted of 17 nurses from the Internal Medicine area to whom a survey was applied, and it was obtained that 76% of the nurses stated that the factor of The highest incidence of osteoporosis is excessive menstruation, only 18% are clear about the interventions that should be performed in patients at risk of osteoporosis, the nursing care guide can contribute to improving the care that these patients receive.
