Abstract

The Ecuadorian government with the measures to respect human rights further motivated immigration, which has led to long-term negative effects, intensified with the crisis caused by Covid-19, so the objective of this research is: To determine what are the main effects caused by emigration in this new condition, and thus other parallel measures with direct effect on Ecuadorian citizens may be executed in order to mitigate the effects produced by Covid-19 and Venezuelan emigration. The PEST analysis was used, and the order of priorities of these effects was determined by dimensions using the Entropy method and possible long-term strategies were offered to mitigate these effects.
