Technical and operational evaluation of Portoaguas-EP during the COVID 19 emergency.

Abstract

Due to the declaration of a health emergency during the first quarter of 2020 due to COVID-19 in Ecuador, the Public Company of Potable Water and Sewerage of Portoviejo - PORTOAGUAS EP, had the opportunity to propose a strategic action plan applied to the different directions of the company to maintain the continuity of basic services in the capital of Manabi, demonstrating the management capacity that the company had according to high standards, to face the strict restrictions of confinement of the population. The conclusion of these actions results in a document of good practices that serves as a basic manual of actions to be implemented for the survival and recovery of the company during the first year of the emergency.
