Abstract

It has taken a long time for crimes against women to be considered as such, and therefore, to become part of the penal codes. This can be explained by the historical discrimination to which patriarchy has subjected women since its beginnings. Therefore, this article reviews the typification of the crime in international and national law, analyzing the theory and, fundamentally, the regulations in this regard.
