Factors predisposing to overweight in drivers at Company of Transporte Titanes del Norte -CIATITANORT.

Abstract

The study carried out in Drivers of the Compañía de Transporte Pesado Titanes del Norte Ciatitanort S.A by Julio Andrade aimed to determine the factors that predispose overweight in drivers of the Transportation Company. A qualitative-quantitative paradigm study, bibliographic, descriptive and field type, and the survey technique was carried out. 100% of the population is included in the research. Risk factors were evidenced such as: long working hours, sedentary lifestyle, the type of food they are forced to consume, lack of regular physical activity and weight control, conditions that could influence the development of cardiovascular disease. The intervention proposal constitutes a fundamental role to improve their lifestyles.
