University Social Responsibility: respect for Human Rights in Higher Education Institutions.

Abstract

Higher Education Institutions have a social commitment to contribute to the promotion and defense of Human Rights of university students. For this reason, the Autonomous University of Tamaulipas, in compliance with the axes contained in the Institutional Development Plan 2018-2021, approved in 2019, the Regulation of the Ombudsman for University Rights, with the aim of promoting the culture of respect of human rights in the university community. In this study we are interested in highlighting the relevance of promoting respect for human rights in Universities as the essence of University Social Responsibility.
