Abstract

The creation of new companies undoubtedly strengthens the social and productive fabric of a nation, and in this context, the development of a feasibility study for the creation of a commercialization industry of craft beer based on potatoes is proposed, considered this, as an emblematic product in the province of Carchi. The methodology route is qualitative-quantitative, transversal, descriptive and explanatory. Market research identifies an unmet demand; the size, geographic location and strategic direction of the company are defined. An investment of $ 37,523.85 is quantified, considering the investment feasible, given a NPV equal to $ 85,032.29; IRR of 56%, and a cost benefit ratio of $ 3.27.
