Influence of Covid-19 on the liquidity of automotive importers in Santo Domingo.

Abstract

The world economy was seriously affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, which caused the paralysis of most sectors in Ecuador, one of these was the automotive industry. The objective of the investigation was to determine how COVID-19 has impacted the liquidity of importing companies of automotive parts that operate in Santo Domingo. A descriptive scope was applied, the same one that had a qualitative-quantitative mixed modality. The research design is non-experimental cross-sectional, the method of knowledge was of documentary and field analysis. Concluding that the pandemic has caused a notable decrease in the size, level of sales and jobs in automotive companies, thus affecting their liquidity.
