Legal Analysis on the food reform to the Civil Code of the State of Mexico, in the context of legislation free of gender stereotypes.
Abstract
The present work aims to analyze the reforms of April 27, 2020 to articles 4,127, 4,129, section II and 4,138, of the Civil Code of the State of Mexico; reforms that were carried out as a response to the social need for equal recognition of the right to receive food by men and women, in their capacity as spouses or common-law partners; modifications to the law that will be analyzed here as one of the most transcendent results of the effort of the State to make effective a reality that guarantees the protection of the right to equality and non-discrimination.
