Domestic violence in the context of the health emergency derived from COVID-19.

Abstract

The Ecuadorian State saw the need to order preventive confinement, and the circumstances have been reflected in massive complaints of domestic abuse reflected in the statistics of the State Attorney General's Office and the Ombudsman's Office, government institutions that apply to the extent of as possible the establishment of all types of violence against women or members of the family nucleus. The application of the research through its different descriptive and qualitative modalities reflects the violation of the right to comprehensive protection of women, and therefore, their family circle in the context of the health emergency derived from COVID - 19.
